Trees create a more attractive environment for pedestrians and are a smarter approach to urban tree planting.
Before the Addagrip resin tree pit system was developed, existing tree planter solutions encouraged litter, cigarette ends and other debris to accumulate around the tree base.
Using a clear resin binder with natural aggregates resin bound tree pits are water permeable allowing rainwater to pass through so that the tree can breathe and grow. A sprinkling of fine quartz beading into the still wet resin gives the finish an anti-slip texture.
Resin tree planter solutions also help to maximise continuous clear footway space for pedestrians. A UV polyurethane version provides the added benefits of greater flexibility and UV stability. A range of different aggregates is available, which under normal external usage demand little maintenance or cleaning.
