This is very important. For most production areas high-build epoxy paint systems are appropriate. These withstand medium levels wear and tear, pallet truck, some forklift truck movement etc. However, there are only 500 microns (0.5mm) thick so can suffer where there is heavy forklift wear. In this environment a self-smoothing resin is better with a resin thickness of 3mm. The polyurethane systems are probably the world's toughest floor. Excellent for heavy duty environments or severe chemical or steam attack.
