Parts of this flat roof were completely rotten and the various tar-like repairs were not ineffective.
All the failed felt was cut back and any blisters star-cut and repaired. The timber was completely replaced with two new layers of 18mm plywood and new timber noggins. The thin copper covering onto the felt was well adhered so this was primed with specialist epoxy metal primer.
Once the repairs were completed an initial coat of Decothane base was installed and fully reinforced with Decothane fibreglass. All detail areas were dressed under the surrounding roofs. Once this had cured the roof was finished with a thick layer of Decothane Top Coat.
