The new quality and conformance centre to this plc client required a smooth, hardwearing finish to their concrete. It was imperative a high quality, easy to clean finish was achieved. A 2-3mm self-smoothing resin system was most applicable as this produces a seamless, smooth surface that resists forklift traffic and other heavy wear.

The area was shotblasted to provide a structural key and a layer of epoxy primer pulled tight over the surface to help remove any surface imperfections or irregularities. Once dry a layer of resin was trowelled down at 2-3mm thickness. Finally a top coat containing a very fine anti-slip based was installed to meet HSE requirements.
