The existing walkway was heavily worn with floor paint flaking off in areas leaving the areas looking unprofessional.
To remove the existing paint and provide a sound surface for the resin application, the area was diamond ground under vacuum. A layer of primer was applied to all areas and then two different applications were chosen. For the 'information booth' a high gloss smooth finish [a self-smoother] was specified to maximise the attractiveness of the area. For the walkways a high build epoxy paint finish was chosen which provides a hardwearing, durable floor.
